In 1977 The Player's Association joined "disco fever" with their LP "Born To Dance" - produced by Danny Weiss - the band included some great musicians: Bob Berg, Bob Mover, Chris Hills, Danny Weiss, David Earle Johnson, David Sanborn, Herb Bushler, James Mtume, Joe Farrell, Jon Faddis, Karl Ratzer, Michael Brecker, Mike Mandel, Pat Rebillot, Ray Mantilla, Steve Khan, Tom Harrell, and Wilbur Bascomb.

"Turn The Music Up" is from the LP with te same title released in 1979 during the boom of dance music. Is was a jazz and soul filled track with dance floors in mind.

I have taken pieces of the song and created a stomping arrangement with some chopping to release the energy in the right places.
