REISSUE: "I Only Wanna Get Up and Dance" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - The Raes

Disco music was a theme for release and fantasy. During the late 70's following the prior 10 years of outlining the meaning and sound a few groups captured the pop-essence of disco. The Raes were a duo doing this with "I Only Wanna Get Up Dance".

The project was produced by Harry Hinde (Barbara Law, Holt 45, Louisa Florio) and featured some musicians familiar with the disco genre: Paul Sabu, Dino Fekaris, and John Luongo.

The groups first single "A Little Lovin' (Keeps The Doctor Away)" was the excitement which kept the duo in the spotlight. Following "I Only Wanna Get Up and Dance" was the single, "Don't Turn Around" - each one signifying a sound of disco music in it's pop stages.

This ReStructure takes the percussion and bass tracks into extended mode.

Dedicated to Erwin (E-Man) from Belgium who has recently passed - thank you for all you have giving us and love for disco music plays on! Disco music has always been celebratory and I celebrate your friendship.
