Wings are a band from the early 70’s featuring Paul McCartney one of the disbanded members of The Beatles. They recorded throughout the 70’s and produced several pop-hits including “Goodnight Tonight”, “Live and Let Die” and “Band On The Run” which is spotlighted here as a new variation of dance fusion with its pop-rock edge. The track builds to a paced energy where the title outlines an escape of some sorts which most likely has a social attachment. It is one of the memorable moments from the early 70s in rock history and gives way to another sound and edge created by Mr. McCartney.
I have taken the album version of “Band On The Run” along with a previously released instrumental version to rework a new ReStructure Mix for this rock classic. It is driven by new beats and some percussion and yet still gives it the homage for pop-rock that it marks in history.
