Sonia Grier is a soul/dance vocalist who released a surprise hit in 1986 titled “Love Flight 109” – produced by Bill Bradford (Shock). This one was a big stomper with its Motown feel and a touch of that pop 50’s edge. An uplifting love song about an imaginary airport where promised love takes off into the skies. One of the big dance floor packers of it day and a big Sonia Grier moment.
I have taken the 12” extended version, dub and pieces of the original of “Love Flight 109” to depart onto a new trip in this ReStructure Mix. I have used pieces of the dub and instrumental to add some new breaks and effects to this magnificent dance song.
