ReStructure Mix Update (8/10/21) “Where’s Your Love Gone?” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Julie Stapleton

Julie Stapleton is an artist from the early 90’s who recorded the deep house track titled, “Where’s Your Love Gone” produced by Alexandre Kalunszynski, Chris Forbes and Nick Austin (better known as V4 Visons). This eerie piece has a whispery delivery from Julie when she states to her lover that is amicably over. The distance from the deep house edge and her somewhat carefree vocals work well in the mixture. Although this one may resemble one you may have heard during this extensive fusion period of house music it has many great qualities to remain in a memorable piece.

I have taken the 12” inch version of “Where’s Your Love Gone” and worked the deep bass mix into a new ReStructure Mix to pay homage to this period of house music. There is a new rhythm track to bring out the mellow edge of the song and a new fade out that calls for more closure.
