ReStructure Mix Update (9/6/21) “Love Will Find A Way” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Pablo Cruise
Pablo Cruise is a 70’s soft-rock band whom started recording in 1975 and created an elegance of fans throughout the early 80’s. Their project from 1978 titled “Worlds Away” contained their big single “Love Will find A Way” – produced by Bill Schnee. Even though the song was a top radio hit in the rock arena it emphasized the rolling bass lines which made up the disco formula and although it is a soft rock styled ballad the sweetness, build and uplifting edge always gave me the pop-disco feel. The song’s vibrancy lives on with the many wonderful elements including the lead vocal by David Jenkins.
I have taken the album version of “Love Will Find A Way” and redefined the song in this ReStructure Mix. A more rhythm defined outline is created by using elements of the original song. Also, a segment from a classic Mike Oldfield project is injected to bring to mind the fusion in rock music during the early and late 80’s.
