• "Dance Into My Life" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Donna SummerIn 1977 Donna Summer created a dance floor explosion with "Once Upon A Time" - most clubs would play 3 of the segued sides of the 4 disks completely. This was due to the flow each track would create from one to another.
"Dance Into My Life" was a moment in the Cinderella-themed disco operetta where the heroine is dancing in a trance at the Ball and finds herself madly in love - and dancing is all she wants for the night. The trance-like feel of the track is broken by a burst of congas and synthesizers - how "disco" is that?
One of the incredible elements of this track is Giorgio Moroder's ability to weave his keyboards and synthesizers so tightly around Summers excellent vocal play.
I have ReStructured the track and gave it an extended and more beat driven outline. Yet, the moments where the track rests are intact so that the energy can move you again into excitement.
