• "High On Your Love" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Debbie JacobsDebbie Jacobs burst on the disco scene in 1979 with open arms and dancing feet welcoming her. Her first LP "Undercover Lover" was an outline for the new sound of mature disco music.
Produced by Paul Sabu the second LP "High On Your Love" was an equally, if not more anticipated. Sabu's wonderful productions echoed a 60's feel with swirling strings accenting funky lead and bass guitar tracks. It was a disco concept full of fire.
Debbie's outstanding vocal range pulls these tracks further into a classic realm and helps to maintain a sophistication that enables these tracks to continue to bring fond memories of the disco era.
I have taken "High On Your Love" and given the track several breakdowns and "highs" along this extended and played out mix.
Dedicated to Ms. Debbie Jacobs-Rock - this one is for you Debbie. Thank you for being so patient with me. The outline of your wonderful and "giving" career in and outside of music are still coming!
