Gary
Wright is a 70s artist who became one of the most widely used musicians
in session recordings throughout the early millennium. His 1975 album
“The Dream Weaver” is one of the markings of rock which brings the pop
edge into blend electronic and experimental sounds. “Love Is Alive” is a
single from the album which in the 80s, 90s and today can be a nice
sleaze piece for a crossover club sound. A unifying anthem of with that
70s edge which always made the radio rock.
I
have taken the album version of “Love Is Alive” and worked this
ReStructure Mix for an alternative sleaze remix using all of the
patterned beats with new percussion and bass. This version is another
tribute to the 70s rock era and its influence on many disco producers
minds and focus in the music industry.
Dedicated
to David Woodruff who has requested a ReStructure Mix of this rock
classic – and thanks for keeping the vinyl meaning alive in his blog
posts.
