Gazuzu is a group from The Netherlands led by Adams & Fleisner – a production team also known for tracks by Digital Emotion, Dr. Groove and Tempo Rubato. The full electronic assemblage was the sound of the mi-80’s with a touch of the street beats to give it flair. “Drums On Fire” is their 1982 single and plays out as it states – a drum beak with lots of ad-libs and fun along the way. A jungle disco in the works is more of a description. The group consists of Annelies Graave and René Portegies and is one of the pieces that made my dance floor party even more when the drums were placed on the dance floor.
I have taken the 12” long and instrumental versions of “Drums On Fire” and relit a new ReStructure Mix. This time around more of the crazy pieces of the feedback from the clan are extended and presented with new edits.
