Sandy Marton is a singer from Zagreb, Croatia who began his recording career in the early 80’s and his arena followed the synth-pop sound with the Italian disco flare. “Exotic and Erotic” is a big single from his 1986 project “Modern Lover” and produced by Italian producer, Claudio Cecchetto (Bizzy and Co., Taffy). The track is one of the pieces which stand out with a chorus which builds from a story of an encounter with a woman who is eye catching and hypnotic. This was one of Sandy’s big numbers as became a club favorite for those who could not stop moving to that uplifting and energetic Italian disco.
I have taken the 12” versions of “Exotic and Erotic” and revamped the energy in this ReStructure Mix. I have added some new bongos to help the story along and also more of the bass driving this song into a frantic pace as it builds.
