• "Behind The Groove" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Teena MarieTeena Marie explored the implications of disco, funk and soul with her 1980 LP, "Lady T". As an artist, Ms. Marie made it clear that her music was always created and not manufactured. As you can hear in this production of "Behind The Groove" - produced by Richard Rudolph.
I have always imagined this place she sings about, "Xanadu" to be a place of mystery and excitement. An extended intro and playful additions hopefully create more of a description.
This one is a classic among soul, disco and funk catalogues - this ReStructure is dedicated to those who "feel the funk."
