"In The Evening" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Sheryl Lee RalphFrom the original Broadway cast of "Dreamgirls" the very lovely and talented Sheryl Lee Ralph wondered into the disco arena in the mid-80's. Her anthem and stay-power piece "In The Evening" was one of the most exciting tracks of the time. A taste of Sheryl's wonderful vocals and a street-disco feel.
I have taken the track deeper in the streets of New York with a darker intro and working the percussion into a slight edge. This one makes Sheryl eel as though she means what she is singing about. A new break and arrangement can keep this classic where it belongs: "In The Evening"!
