Bill Summers is a percussionist who began as a solo artist in 1977 with "Feel The Heat" - eventually this lead to his project Bill Summers Summers Heat. Their forth project "Jam The Box" featured the big club electro/funk track "We Call It The Box" - which is one of the New York street beat influences of 1981.
