Evelyn “Champagne” King is one of voices in disco history that brought a nuance and promise to this genre of music. Her classic dance track, “Shame” from 1977 was a pivotal moment for dance floors. A soulful and young sound was created with Evelyn’s fabulous vocals and the production from Theid9ire Life. “I Don’t Know If It’s Right” is the follow up single from the project and brings another nice feel to this disco number. This track made many cool down after “Shame” but never give on this exciting new performer.

I have taken the 12” version of “I Don’t Know If It’s Right” and made a new environment for this ReStructure Mix. A touch more of that killer bass-line in many new reassignments and also a new fade for the song which leaves only a question of love, not rhythm.
