REISSUE: “From Here To Eternity” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Colby Colby is an Italo-disco project from producer Servero Lombardoni along with Marcello Catalano arranging this classic Giorgio Moroder instrumentation. Released in 1987 this single placed the space disco epic into a new time zone with a hard hitting beat and use of the elements from original pieced into a new journey into the sound of electronic disco during its creation. This one pours more of the mystic with heart and soul which Moroder may have given this project during his brainstorms – it is the classic Italo-disco emulating the master with respect and the same imagination. I have taken the 12” dance mix and “Pippo” mix into this ReStructure Mix to pay tribute to Moroder’s original as well as the Italo-disco counterpart so well executed. I have added a few of the original elements to piece this journey into a completeness that will give the ride a pleasing familiarity.
