ReStructure Mix Update (8/13/20) “Everything So Good About You” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Melba Moore

Melba Moore is one of the true voices of soul from the 70’s. She has always delivered a performance which gives off the innocence of a child who blossoms with emotion and knowledge. Her career in the late 70’s transformed her instantly into a dance floor favorite. With big hits like “You Stepped Into My Life” and “Pick Me up I’ll Dance” there was no keeping her talent away from those who were ready to express it in dance form. “Closer” is her 1980 project produced by Bruce Hawes, Victor Carstarphen and Melba. The initial track titled “Everything So Good About You” is a disco funk track that became an instant hit on my dance floor at the time and gave me another opportunity to program one of my favorite voices once again.

I have taken the album version of “Everything So Good About You” and reweaved the song into a new ReStructure Mix. New drums are added to pump the rhythm track up and also new loop edits to break and rearrange the original version apart.
