ReStructure Mix Update (8/20/20) “(You Got Me) In The Mood” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Puff

Puff is a disco session from producers Will Crittendon (Mantus), Brad Baker, Don Oriolo and Neil Levenson. This is the ultimate underground sound with a touch of the chic edge of disco. Complete with sensual femme ensemble and swirling strings this one pulls out everything that the 70’s disco dance floor exuded. It is a journey into the sexy and pulsating beats that made hips move and shake. “(You Got Me) In The Mood” was one of the big 1979 surprises but came at a time where the music faded into a message of the dance backlash – however for me it still represents good energy and uplifting energy – that is what disco was all about.

I have taken the 12” version of “(You Got Me) In The Mood” along with the B-side instrumental titles “Moody:” and reworked the frenzy into a new ReStructure Mix. There are a couple of new surprises sampled in and a couple of new breakdowns.
