Keith Zorros is a rock artist from the late 70’s who recorded one of the big energy dance tracks of 1980 – “Too Hot To Stop The Rock”. This single was a big hit for many clubs that were breaking the rock edge with their disco program as this piece is a cross between pop-rock and disco. The vocal plays out with a nice rockin’ feel and also breaks down in parts of the track with some nice harmonies. This one is recognizable piece and gives off the disco era when many artists were still friendly and attempting to delve onto the dance floors to give the disco edge their own flavor.
I have taken the 12” version of “Too Hot To Stop The Rock” and broke it down to recreate this ReStructure Mix. There are more of the bongo fills and some breaks that appear from chorus lines and that rolling bass line.
