Ann Joy (Anna Gioia) is a disco artist produced by Peter Dimilo from 1980 – the project titled “Love Dance”, as he achieved in his Erotic Drum Band releases Mr. Dimilo brings a barrage of percussion which outlines a sexy flavor in his music. The percussion makes love the beat while Ms. Joy here gives us the sensual layering of soft intimate vocals. This was one of my favorite singles of the dance 80’s period and makes the dance floor continue to move in and out as the bongos do.
I have taken the 12” of “Feel Your Way Around” and made a new outline for this ReStructure Mix. Taking those bongos into new breaks and making the bassline work overtime.
