ReStructure Mix Update (1/7/23): “Dolce Vita” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Ryan Paris

Ryan Paris is an Italian singer whose and one of the early voices of early 80’s Italo-disco which gave the style an identity. His music along with producer Pierluigi Giombini helped to set the stage for the sound of dance music which would take a new place in dance history. “Dolce Vita” is a single from 1983 and perhaps one of his most haunting. This piece is a level of celebratory remembrance and emotion which transforms itself into a majestic piano concerto at times. It contains the 80’s dance feel and logic of the stamp that Italo-disco would be proud and influence many new artists to take the opportunity to be as creative.

I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of “Dolce Vita” and realigned the track for this ReStructure Mix. Adding a light touch of new beats and bongos to accentuate areas of the song and also maintain the fabulous instrumental pieces which make this song a wonderful as it is.
