ReStructure Mix Update (1/2/23): “Love Thang” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – First Choice

First Choice is a trio featuring Annette Guest, Debbie Martin and Rochelle Fleming. Their 1978 album “Hold Your Horses” is one the disco banquets of the time period. Produced by Tom Moulton, Norman Harris and McKinley Jackson this project was a shining example of who delivered during the peak of the disco music explosion. “Love Thang” is the funky piece which plays out appropriately for the ladies and their soulful pipes. It is a touch of the disco sound bringing the elements that have been polished from the early 70’s. 

I have taken the album version of “Love Thang” and made a new ReStructure Mix by rewiring the elements. A new percussion piece levels in the new intro and throughout the mix there are extended bites of delicious disco.
