ReStructure Mix Update (10/2/24):”There’s No Me Without You” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Len Boone

Len Boone is a singer and songwriter who has written songs for Bay City Rollers, Maxine Nightingale, and Michael Zager. In 1979 he released the single “There’s No Me Without You” - arranged by Gene Page and produced by Roger Watson. This release at the peak of the disco era closely follows the pop essence of disco music. Utilizing the percussion and bass as a foundation for the arrangement. This single is accompanied by Holly Sherwood on vocals and plays out as a romantic duet. The high peak strings bring this one into disco heaven for those who can’t get enough.

I have taken the 12” version of “There’s No Me Without You” and stripped pieces of the rhythm section to recreate a new ReStructure Mix. Many of the original elements are presented in new layers to give this disco number a slight new feel.
