ReStructure Mix Update (10/4/24):”Cream” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Prince
Prince has been a gift to music fans everywhere. His compositions are teasing, invoking and enticing - as is his 1991 release titled “Cream”. The track starts off as a rolling tribute to the 60’s psychedelic rock scene and then converts itself into a bustin’ out piece. The guitars as usual keep Prince at bay as he loses his excitement throughout the song. It is one of the sexiest recordings and displays once again how this man was more than a master with music.
I have taken the 12” version of “Cream” and reworked this slick number for a ReStructure Mix. I have extended parts of the song where more hip movements fit in and also taken his vocal riffs to another sensual place.
