ReStructure Mix Update (2/3/25):”Music Is My Thing” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Samantha Gilles

Samantha Gilles is a high-energy artist produced by Fonny De Wolf (Rofo, Lazer Dance, Michael Bow, Charity and Bianca). The voice is the alluring sweetness which disco music made a staple of. “Music Is My Thing” is a serenade from Samantha where she exclaims the excitement of her motivation behind the talent. More in the energy of tracks which are smooth and yet contain the high-energy ingredients like heavy beats, rolling bass and percussion. This 1985 single is from her project “Love 4-2” which also has her big club hit, “Let Me Feel It”. A lyrical piece of high energy with a mild approach and Samantha laying down her sound to move to.

I have taken the 12” version of “Music Is My Thing” and re-edited a new ReStructure Mix in tribute to Mr. De Wulf and Ms. Gilles. The  percussion is laid over a new drum pattern which carries the new remix into a new experience.
