In 1977 during the release of his first LP the times were changing not only in the music world but also the boldness of Sylvester's persona - which today has only been imitated but never surpassed.
"Can't Stop Dancing" is a track that came in Sylvester's 3rd LP "Living Proof" and appropriately released at a time when the fate of disco music seemed unclear. This track can only be experienced when dance floor were moving to the beat of disco music in full force - there is no replacing it. The project was produced by Harvey Fuqua and Sylvester and the 12" disco single mixed by Marty Blecman and the fabulous, John Hedges.
I have ReStructured "Can't Stop Dancing" and added a few bumps and breaks along the outline of the original track. It truly is a kick-ass song!
