"Dancing and Romancing" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - PassionDisco music evolved during the mid 70's thanks to producers like Ray Martinez - a Cuban born songwriter, musician and singer. His style was a smooth Euro-disco feel done with a Miami flair. It was unforgettable on dance floors and helped to tame many dancers looking for the beauty in dance music.
Passion is a project Martinez produced and created in 1979 which marked not only the changing of an era but also the breaths of what disco music had become. "Dancing and Romancing" is from the LP and has always been one of my favorites.
I have ReStructured "Dancing and Romancing" using the piano, strings and bass elements to work a whole new feeling. The wonderful bongo and rhythm tracks of the original have also been slightly enhanced.
Dedicated to Mr. Ray Martinez for being one of the great producers who truly respected disco music and it's dancers.
