"Discognosis" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - DiscognosisDiscognosis is an early project from 1977 by Michael Lewis and Lauren Rinder - along with producers, Ed Cobb and Ray Harris. The starting phase for AVI Records who became a trademark for disco music in the mid and late 80's.
This LP was similar to El Coco which Rinder and Lewis brought to life in 1975 with the first LP titled "Mondo Disco". The single "Discognosis" is a session with the funky bass line that their projects were so namely for, as well as plenty of slick keyboards.
Disco music has grown and yet learned from projects as this and continue to return to the roots for the base of this funky formula.
This ReStructure Mix creates another breakdown mix for this classic sound - and also adds a few new pieces to give a whole new sound to move to.
