The Good Vibrations is a disco project from producer Stewart Levine - known for productions with Hugh Masekela, The Crusaders, Minnie Riperton and Rare Earth. His project "I Get Around" is a disco-fied production of songs by The Beach Boys.
This is one of the early disco projects which fit into the complete arrangement and orchestration of an ensemble. Very well placed and also features the late, great Luther Vandross on vocals and also David Lasley and Arnold McCuller - crooning a new sound for the pop-beach sound of the 60s translated to the disco dance floor.
I have taken the album version of "Don't Worry Baby" and have given it a new ReStructure Mix adding a few pieces from another disco cover of the Beach Boys tunes by Sea Cruise. The drum beats of the original are the foundation again and the sweet ballad feel of the song.
