REISSUE: "I Don't Wanna Lose Your Love" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - The Emotions The LP "Flowers" was released in 1976 and featured a production of Sheila Hutchinson, Wanda Hutchinson and Wanda Vaughn as the funky and soulful Emotions. This project produced by Charles Stepney and Maurice White who later moved onto projects with Denise Williams as well as Maurice's Earth, Wind and Fire band. Soul and funk moved together during this period and created an exciting brand of dance music. This being the most exciting of this time. "I Don't Wanna Lose Your Love" is a fantastic production of horns and guitars which are ReStructured with some new percussion tracks, which I created to give the track a new feel. Dedicated to Maurice White and the ensemble of Earth, Wind and Fire for their years of devotion to soul and funk.
