REISSUE: “Hooray For Hollywood” by The Coney Island Chorus Girls – Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera

REISSUE: “Hooray For Hollywood” by The Coney Island Chorus Girls – Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera The Coney Island Chorus Girls is disco project from W. Michael Lewis and Laurin Rinder (El Coco, Le Pamplemousse, St. Tropez, Tuxedo Junction) and one of the disco genre of the mid 70s – discovering a standard or classic. This uplifting Hollywood parade anthem from Johnny Mercer and Richard A. Whitling gets a mild disco bass and the sassy-play chorus. I have taken the MGM salute, “That’s Entertainment Part II” with Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire and painted a short but deserved montage of those big musicals that made us want to salute life in disco’s with a song and a dance! The film was directed by Gene Kelly Featuring scenes from “That’s Entertainment Part II” – RENT THE DVD! Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera Produced by Ken Emmons This Disco Video Mix is dedicated to Dale Switzer – for bringing Hollywood to life again for me!
