REISSUE: "Dance" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Paul Jabara

From the "Shut Out" Medley this cooker is a nonstop disco burner that inspired a remake by Paradise Express - the cover did not have the energy that this original set loose. It was however, very worthy since backing vocals were provided by Two Tons O' Fun (Martha Wash and the late, Izora Rhodes). Jabara was the golden boy of Casablanca's disco movement in 1977 and produced some of the most memorable disco-fied projects, including the lyrics for Donna Summer's "Last Dance" (which appears as a ballad on his second album, "Keeping Time".

Do not attempt to start moving to this number unless you can keep up! It moves from the original 3:43 to 8:53! Thanks to Larry who inquired about this cut which brings to mind, Basin Street and WCPC to me here in San Diego.
