Lime is Denis Le Page and Denyse Le Page and this duo changed the direction of dance music in the early 80’s. Their sound became iconic on dance floors from the inception of their first single in 1980 titled “Your Love”. The heavy percussive framework, igniting keyboard riffs and their unique vocals made the 80's the right place and time. “Together” is from their 1983 project titled “Line 3” and again is the genius of Denis Le Page and his dedication to creating an electric symphony of sound for his love songs and unusual themes. This piece is the groups sound rolled into one offering. It has Denis leading the vocals into a mesmerizing love song which pours out heart with a sweet and simple melody. It is the energy which made the 80’s a great place to dance.
I have taken the album version of “Together” and reworked the track again for this ReStructure Mix. Adding new drum beats and some percussion to help emphasize the love and excitement and also rearranging the choruses to give it a new flair.
