Azoto is a disco group from Italian producer/arranger Celso Valli who also brought us his work from Tantra, Passengers, V.I.S.A., Lama, Nuggets and Future State. Their 1979 project titled “Disco Fizz” is a classic work from Valli that brings disco music from the late 70s into a new age. “Soft Emotion” is a track from the album which brings some of the magic of European dance music. The song has a whispery chorus speaking about the excitement that love has brought and of course the silliness it can create with over-findness. The arrangement has wonderful rhythm guitars which pluck their way into beautiful mandolin segments with the lush disco strings accompanying. It gives off the dedication of the funky rhythmic edge and also the light hearted chorus reciting the lure of love.
I have taken the album version of “Soft Emotion” and realigned the groove again for this ReStructure Mix. I have opened this new version with pieces of the song which echo its charm into a new fade in and some new breaks along the way.
