ReStructure Mix Update (4/16/22): “Wind Beneath My Wings” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Menage

Menage is a disco ensemble from pioneer disco producer, Warren Schatz (Vicki Sue Robinson, New York Community Choir, The Brothers) and vocalist, Ellen Bernfeld. Their three 80’s releases began with a big dance floor cover of “Memory” – the theme from the Broadway show, “Cats”. The re-introduction to disco music’s intention to make the dance floor a stage. “Wind Beneath My Wings” is their third single and a wonderful cover of the theme from the motion picture, “Beaches”. The strings and fusion of keyboards make a mark once again on a dance version of a song that celebrates just as disco music always has.

I have taken the vocal and instrumental of Ménage’s “Wind Beneath My Wings” and added a new edit to this ReStructure Mix. Taking the drama onto a whole new purpose for this great dance cover.
