ReStructure Mix Update (4/25/22): “She’s A Star” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Kano

Kano began as one of the innovative groups of the early 80’s with their big dance floor classic “I’m Ready” from 1980. The project is Luciano Ninzatti, Matteo Bonsanto and Stefano Pulga – who were joined on the second album, “New York Cake” with vocalist, Glen White. “She’s A Star” is a single from this 1981 project and is a lighter play of Kano’s initial hardcore/underground approach. The piece is still exciting and has some nice keyboard elements and lure on this mystery lady who makes the night stand still when she is a part of it.

I have taken the album version of “She’ A Star” and translated the energy in a new way to this ReStructure Mix. The new percussion and drum tracks give the song more of a disco pulsating sound and make the energy more evident.
