ReStructure Mix Update (4/9/22): “Heaven” – Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Gibson Brothers
Gibson Brothers are Alex Francfort, Christian Francfort and Patrick Francfort – a trio from Martinique, West Indies who have ignited dance floors in the mid and late-seventies with hits “Que Sera Mi Vida (I You Should Go)” and “Ooh, What A Life”. Their distinctive vocal sound is one of the refreshing sounds of the disco movement with a powerful male force behind it. “Heaven” is a single from their 1978 album by the same name and was produced by Daniel Vangarde (Ottawan, Who’s Who). A driving love song with a powerful need to let the heart go to extremes.
I have taken the 12” version of “Heaven” and re-wired the track with more Latin percussion to give it center stage once again. The outline is brought out with more breaks and long rhythm interludes and this ReStructure Mix makes it more electric.
