• "Crank It Up (Funk Town)" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Peter BrownPeter Brown started a disco extravaganza with his LP “Fantasy Love Affair” in 1977 – it brought disco classics “Do You Want To Get Funky With Me” and “Dance With Me” into a whole new arena. Progressive arrangements and keyboards brought Brown’s vocal to life.
“Crank It Up (Funk Town)” was from his follow up LP “Stargazer” in 1979 – this track stomped its way onto dance floors and created quite a stir. It is stir one of the most rockin’ disco tracks around.
I have ReStructured it and added a few new breaks along with a few new robotic keyboard riffs to create a “Funk Town” feel.
