• "Love Rush" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Ann MargretAnn Margret is the darling of the 60’s movie screen. Many of her film roles included her sensual and determined vocals. In 1979, disco music was very honored to welcome Margret onto the dance floors with her disco debut, “Love Rush” on Ocean/Ariola Records.
This was of course an attempt to burst into the disco trend of the time, but well worth it. Produced by Paul Sabu, Marc Kreiner and Tom Cossie – this single from the LP titled “Ann Margret” had the power to open doors to any dance floor. A fabulous string ensemble and infectious percussion track make this one last forever.
A ReStructure in this sense is well worth it – I dedicate this mix to Randy Sumner of Palm Springs. We had talked about this track this past weekend and I looped a vocal track that we laughed about over and over with. Thank you, Randy – you are a “winner”!
