• "Tonight" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Gloria GaynorGloria Gaynor was recording disco music since 1974 keeping time with the motion of dance floors. Her 1978 hit "I Will Survive" has become more than a Top 10 Disco Hit - it is a world anthem.
In 1979 she released her follow up to "I Will Survive" - an LP titled "I Have A Right" produced by Dino Fekaris and Freddie Perren. The project included a cover of the "West Side Story" song, "Tonight" with music by Leonard Bernstein and the lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
Gaynor does an excellent job at making this track a monument along with the swirling arrangement and continuous build.
I have taken the track in a ReStructure Mix with request of Hank from Miami. The song is given a new intro and breakdown with more definition.
