West End was on a roll when Taana Gardner released "Work That Body" in 1979 - produced by Kenton Nix and remixed by Mr. Larry Levan. It was clear where the label was headed.
Taana's second dance single "When You Touch Me" is a sensual explosion of energy - this track may have Taana holding onto notes that go beyond her range, but it still emerges like a jam session filled ecstasy and delight.
I have taken the track made a definite beat out of the percussion tracks along with the CuĂca echoing as though it were riding along with an orgasm. This mix reverses the energy to melt down into a slower fade.
Dedicated to Mr. Larry Levan and The Garage.
