• "Earth Can Be Just Like Heaven" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Two Tons O' FunMartha Wash and Izora Rhodes are Two Tons O' Fun - in 1979 producer Harvey Fuqua released their solo LP as they stepped away from Sylvester as backup. The success of the first single, "I Got The Feeling" brought high energy disco music back into their futures. "Earth Can Be Just Like Heaven" was their second track released as a 12" along with a remix by Robbie Leslie.
Later in the early 80's these worshipped divas became "The Weather Girls" after "It's Raining Men" became an instant success.
"Earth Can Be Just Like Heaven" has a strong gospel feel along with a bass line with enough power to light up the night. This ReStructure Mix was requested by Michael R. in San Diego and was a song that we would celebrate in our own hometown during the heyday of disco in 1979. It goes out, once again to Micheal.
