It was one of the first 45 records that I would hear my sister, Lolly playing in her bedroom and teaching the "Cissy Strut" to friends. The guitars licks have always entranced me - a very wicked groove. The essence of funk!
This ReStructure is dedicated to "funk" - without it dance music would not be where it is today - and also my sister, Lolly and thanking her for playing so much music when we were younger and enticing me into its joy and pleasure.
