"Baby Baba Boogie" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - The Gap Band

"Baby Baba Boogie" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - The Gap Band

The Gap Band are brothers Charlie, Ronnie and Robert Wilson - their 1979 LP titled "Gap Band" contained a big disco floor track titled "Baby Baba Boogie" - a uplifting chant-like number with some great bass and keyboard work. Later, these talented guys became a household a few big follow up songs in the 80's including "Burn Rubber (Why You Wanna Hurt Me)", "Oops Up Side Your Head" and "You Dropped A Bomb On Me".

"Baby Baba Boogie" is the essence of funk and disco in a smart package - this ReStructure loops it's way into a whole new arrangement using the pieces that always made my dance floor jump in the air and get to know "Baby Baba" quite well!
