Hamilton Bohannon
is one of the early disco artists and producers who learned to talk to the
disco beat. His music was a deeply infectious experience and continues to bring
the 70’s feeling back with tracks like “Let’s Start The Dance” and “Dance Your
Ass Off”. The 1976 album titled “Dance Your Ass Off” signaled a soulful side to
disco music. The track became an instant hit on dance floors and has lasted
till today.
I have taken the
album version of “Dance Your Ass Off” and play it out in the ReStructure Mix
fashion for this remix. It uses “Let’s Start The Dance” to beef up the beat and
remind us of the power of Bohannon.
