ReStructure Mix Update (11/21/19) “I’ll Keep Holdin’ On” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – DSK with Christine Wiltshire

DSK is a house project from Joe Stone, Larry Davis and Paul Klein of Hot Productions during the early 90’s house boom. The sound of heavy bass booming and that classic piano/keyboard riff emulating a chase was one fulfilling dance recipe. “I’ll Be Holdin’ On” is their single from 1992 and features the vocals of disco chanteuse Christine Wiltshire (Poussez!, Musique, Revanche, Phreek, Class Action, Center Stage, Aural Exciters). This love song is one of my all-time favorite house grooves and with Wiltshire’s sensual vocal this one is not only an anthem, but a must. It flows like Wiltshire’s classic “Summer Love” from Musique (Patrick Adams).

I have taken the 12” vocal and dub to recreate a new ReStructure Mix of “I’ll Keep Holdin’ On” and mark this piece again. The rhythm plays out like the original house arrangement with a few new breaks and surprises.
