REISSUE: "Disco Nights (Rock Freak)" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - GQ In 1978 disco reached a period when the sound was very sophisticated and "chic" - much of the music of this time reflected the night life off of the excitement occurring in clubs. GQ was a band which became an anthem for nightlife. Produced by Beau Ray Fleming with mixing assistance by Jimmy Simpson this venture was one of disco musics most promising of it's time. "Disco Nights (Rock Freak)" is still considered a classic among the top. It is a slick and well executed track. I have ReStructured the cut using more of the percussion elements and also pumping up some additional breaks. This one goes out to all of the die-hards who can't get enough of this fantastic sound - it will live on-and-on.
