REISSUE: "In The Middle Of The Knight" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Giorgio

REISSUE: "In The Middle Of The Knight" - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix - Giorgio Giorgio Moroder's "Knights In White Satin" (cover of the Moody Blues classic) is one of his earl experimental disco albums. Released on Casablanca's subsidary, Oasis Records in 1976 it is one of Moroder's early signs of genius. His use of moog synthesizers, percussion, guitars, disco strings and phasing are explored here. "In The Middle Of The Knight" comes from the A-side "Knights In White Satin" medley - dividing the side long performance for a break into a mysteriously phased message that we can only guess pertains to a missed loved and a lonely night staring at the ceiling. I have taken the album version and trimmed off the "Knights..." elements creating a lone remix for "In The Middle Of The Knight". It is one of the early sleaze pieces in disco music - and I have worked to create the same mode with touch of new drums and effects. Dedicated to Mr. Giorgio Moroder and his hard-core fans everywhere!
