REISSUE: “Love’s Theme” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Love Unlimited Orchestra

REISSUE: “Love’s Theme” - Glenn Rivera ReStructure Mix – Love Unlimited Orchestra Barry White and his Love Unlimited Orchestra are the backbone of disco music. His orchestrations over bass guitars, drums and percussion created a need for beautiful music with rhythm and soul enhancing the edge. “Love’s Theme” from 1974 is one of the funky tracks with the soaring strings and horns which bring to mind the Philadelphia sound as it matured into disco music the mid-70s. One of the biggest records in soul music during the time and an influence on music to come. A big radio and club track and a piece of disco history worth shouting about. I have taken the album version of “Love’s Theme” and created a ReStructure Mix which uses the strings to an advantage for more of that flowing magic. There are a few breaks along the way added and a fade that is only more enticing to hear more.
