Lipps Inc. is a disco band from producer and genius Steve Greenberg and the vocals of Cynthia Johnson – with the combination of both talents the classic “Funkytown” was created. One of the Casablanca Records legacies and great moments in music history. “Addicted To The Night” is from the 1983 album “4” which is their fourth project and features the vocals of Margaret Cox and Melanie Rosales. A fast spinning track that caused quite some motion on dance floors during the early 80’s.
I have taken the 12” vocal and instrumental of “Addicted To The Night” and transformed the fast swirling number into new ReStructure Mix. I stretched out the mix into a slower pace of energy and played with the vocals to create a new edge.
